Well Quinn has been home for about 2 1/2 months and we finally blessed him last Sunday. All of Minola's family was there. On my side my mom and dad and Lisa's family made it down.
We had a good meeting and a pretty good lunch after.
We took the boat wakeboarding for the first time this year two weeks ago. I had
to fix the starter before we left, the soleniod was gummed up.
Minola's friends Carie and Dave went with us. It was their first time wakeboarding
(they skied before) and they popped right up. I am a very good teacher now.
I took two sets, and had a hard face plant on the second set. I did a surface 180 with the intention of doing a 1 wake 180. My lead knee was feeling a little sore so I decided it would be better to do a surface 180 again.
I cut out to get slack in the line then decided to cut a little further and bam, the tip of the board went under and the next thing I knew I was under water with both feet slipping out of the bindings. It was the most violent crash I think I have had.
Evelyn was having a hard time on the tube, but I think she was a little tired. She never had a problem before, but then we didn't boat much
last year. Every time we stopped she wanted to hop out and swim. She
was a big help with the tube. She woudl help me pull the tube in for the
next run.
Elias would climb over the sun pad to hop in the water everytime we stopped.
It's a good thing we have good jackets for all the kids. He had a quick
run in the tube and we played a bit.
We are going out again tomorrow. Hopefully I can get over my crash and Evelyn can get over her tubing anxiety,
and neither of them fall in the water when we stop to get switch riders.
On a side note we are looking into selling the boat. I would need to be
offered my asking price and even then I might not sell.
We are all doing well.
Quinn is about 2 1/2 months old now and is starting to be fun. He loves
it when you talk to him, otherwise he would rather have Minola hold him. He has started smiling and is a
very cute boy.
Elias still isn't talking much, well he talks a lot but not in sentances yet. I bought his first monster truck the other day.
He is a good boy and likes to watch car shows with me.
Evelyn is as smarter than ever. She has started helping a bit around the house.
She loves to help take care of Quinn. H
Veronica is now home from her mission and is living with us for a few more weeks.
